Apoyo Mensual

    Necesitamos su ayuda, estamos orando por 225 iglesias o personas dispuestas a apoyarnos con $25.00 al mes ($300.00 al año). Por favor, tome un momento para orar acerca de colaborar mensualmente con este trabajo misionero.  Servir Con Compasión

    Durante la última semana de abril, vamos a tener una gran oportunidad para servir en la nación de Surinam. Vamos a ayudar dirigir un equipo médico que va a trabajar entre el pueblo Arawak de Surinam. Este equipo médico es una de las primeras iniciativas médicas en las Asambleas de Dios que se han hecho para compartir el evangelio con esta etnia. Queremos agradecer a la Iglesia Pentecostal San Mateo y la Iglesia la Cruz de Jesús en Upland, CA, por dar las ofrendas que nos permitieron participar en este alcance. Por favor, mantengan este equipo en sus oraciones. Nuestra visión es hacer más brigadas médicas como esta. Por favor, tomo un momento para orar sobre apoyar a este ministerio mensualmente. 

Sirviendo en la Aula

    A principios del año pasado, nos invitaron a trabajar con la Escuela de Teología del Caribe. Esta invitación abrió la oportunidad de servir a pastores de grupos étnicos no alcanzados en ocho países. Con su apoyo, bendeciremos a los pastores de diferentes etnias que normalmente no tendrían acceso a capacitación pastoral o herramientas de evangelismo. Le damos gracias a Dios por 30 iglesias y personas que se han comprometido a ayudarnos a bendecir a grupos no alcanzados en las islas del Caribe, Belice, Surinam y Guayana. Nos sentimos tan agradecidos por la ayuda de estas iglesias y personas. En el futuro, nos gustaría seguir compartiendo el amor de Jesús a través de ministerios de compasión y la capacitación pastoral en el aula.

Serving Through Compassion 

    An opportunity to serve is coming during the last week of April. We will help lead a medical team to work among the Arawak people of Suriname. This medical team is one of the first medical outreaches to come to share the love of Jesus among this group. We want to thank Iglesia Pentecostal San Mateo and Iglesia la Cruz de Jesus in Upland, CA, for providing the offerings that made it possible for us to go on this outreach. Please keep this outreach in your prayers. Our vision is to do more outreaches like this one. Will you pray about supporting us monthly?

Celebration of Life | Keith McElfresh | January 6, 2024

Today, my mother-in-law Sharon, my wife Catherine, and her brother and sisters celebrated a beautiful memorial service for my beloved father-in-law. Through his highs and lows, he passionately pursued God. In his final years, I never left his company without feeling encouraged and uplifted.   2 Timothy 4:7-8 applies so well to him:

7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Hoy, mi suegra Sharon, mi esposa Catherine y su hermano y hermanas celebramos un hermoso servicio conmemorativo para mi amado suegro que ya está con nuestro Senior.  A través de sus tiempos altos y bajos, siempre siguió a Dios con todo su corazón. En sus últimos años, nunca dejé su presencia sin sentirme alentado y animado. 2 Timoteo 4:7-8 se aplica muy bien a él.

7He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe. 8Por lo demás, me está guardada la corona de justicia, la cual me dará el Señor, juez justo, en aquel día; y no sólo a mí, sino también a todos los que aman su venida.

Itineration Update / Progreso de Promoción Misionera

Dear Friends  I'm happy to report that our itineration is now in full swing. Over the next several months, we will speak at different churches and meet with pastors and individuals regarding missionary work. If I could sum up our missionary work in one sentence, I would have to say the following: "We are working to build the kingdom of God by training indigenous pastors and church leaders living among the unreached of Latin America." Together, we can initiate this work in Belize, the West Indies, and the northern coast of South America. We still have a long way to go before itineration is over, and we need your help.  To start our missionary work, we need the following: We need prayer support; we are about to engage dozens of unreached people groups, which requires a large base of prayer support. Si pudiera resumir nuestro trabajo misionero en una frase, diría lo siguiente: "Estamos trabajando para construir el Reino de Dios capacitando a pastores de las etnias y líderes de iglesias que viven entre los grupos no alcanzados de América Latina". Juntos podemos iniciar este trabajo en Belice, las Indias Occidentales y la costa norte de Sur América. Todavía nos queda mucho trabajo antes de que termine esta temporada de levantar apoyo de oración y financiero. Return to Missions / Regreso a Misiones

 

It was a happy and sad day. Today was my last day as a full-time employee at AGTS. I have been so blessed to work with such amazing people. We have shared many moments of joy, laughter, and hard work; I will truly miss these wonderful people.

We are excited to announce that we will return to work as missionaries with AGWM. We have been invited to serve as missionary educators with the Caribbean School of Theology and Faith and Action Ministries. As we move forward, we welcome the challenge of raising our budget and initiating our work with these great ministries. As we reengage missionary work, our continuing goal is to be a part of expanding God's kingdom among unreached people groups. Your prayer support is greatly appreciated.
